This past weekend, Anchored Ministries had the joy of hosting our annual Back to School Program, and what a beautiful day it was! Together, we were able to distribute nearly 200 backpacks filled with school supplies, clothing, and shoes to local children — ensuring they start the school year feeling prepared, confident, and cared for.
First and foremost, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our main sponsor, Leah Raup, Esq., Realtor with Compass. Your generosity and partnership made this event possible, and we are deeply grateful for your support of families in our community.

We also want to thank the incredible organizations who joined us and poured into families:
- Honey Brook Lions Club for providing free eye screenings to children ages 6 months–12 years
- Elliker Financial for offering free financial consultations
- Young Life providing connection for the youth in the community
- Moving Communities to Christ for encouraging and supporting students and families
Local resource tables included information about the Hopewell Church youth programs, Twin Valley Food Pantry, Little Mates Preschool, Bricklane Community Church youth programs, Conestoga Mennonite Church youth programs, and MCC youth programs.
Another highlight of the day was the Touch-a-Truck experience, where kids got to explore big trucks, vehicles, and equipment. A special thanks to:
- Berg Construction
- Bressler’s Inc.
- George E. Ley Company
- Petersheim Brothers
- Robeson Police Department
- Ridgewood Soils
- Rob’s Towing
- Taylor Northeast
- Twin Valley Fire Department

Thanks for making this exciting part of the day a reality!
Finally, none of this would be possible without our local businesses and churches, volunteers and donors. From setting up tables, helping families shop, running activities, and cleaning up — your servant hearts made this day run smoothly. Every smile, every backpack given, and every connection made reflects the love of Christ in action.
A special thanks to the following locations who hosted a Supply Drive for us:
- Brick Lane Community Church
- Conestoga Mennonite Church
- Elverson Fitness Club
- Elverson United Methodist Church
- Hopewell Church
- Little Mates
- Village Library

We are so grateful to everyone who helped clothe our community with compassion and send children back to school with hope.
