About the Event
The Elverson Community 5K and Fun Run is an annual event that serves as the official kickoff to Elverson Day, a beloved community celebration featuring live music, food vendors, family-friendly activities, and an evening fireworks display. Proceeds from the race benefit Anchored Ministries, a local nonprofit dedicated to providing essential resources such as clothing, food, and household necessities to individuals and families in need.
Race Options
5K Race: A timed event open to all ages and abilities. Awards are given to top finishers in multiple age groups.
1-Mile Fun Run/Walk & Scavenger Hunt: A non-competitive event perfect for families and individuals of all abilities. Participants will enjoy a scenic walk or run while counting how many Anchored symbols they can find along the course. Prizes are awarded to those with the closest guesses!
Why Participate?
Your participation directly impacts the community. 100% of the proceeds from the event go toward funding Anchored Ministries’ programs, which provide essential support to those in need. By registering, you help supply clothing through the Mobile Clothing Closet, stock food for the Roadside Stand, and provide school supplies for children in need.
Beyond the fundraising aspect, the Elverson Community 5K & Fun Run fosters a sense of togetherness and civic engagement. Whether you’re racing, walking, volunteering, or cheering from the sidelines, you are making a tangible difference in the lives of others.
