Please read each section carefully to ensure you qualify. Age Requirement Your children must be between birth and 18 years old in order to be eligible for this program. Residency Requirement Your children must either attend or live within the Twin Valley School District. This includes: 1. Public school students within the district. 2. Homeschool students within the district boundaries. 3. Private school students within the district. Income or Assistance Requirement Your children must meet one of the following conditions to qualify based on income or assistance: 1. Your household receives benefits from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). 2. Your children are foster children under the legal care of a foster care agency or the court. 3. Your children meet the federal definition of homeless, runaway, or migrant. 4. Your household income is at or below the limits set by the Federal Income Eligibility Guidelines for the free/reduced lunch program. You can check the current guidelines here: a. We are so excited to partner with our generous sponsors to bless your family this holiday season. Please read the following guidelines carefully as you complete your child’s wishlist. 1. Wishlist as a Guide The wishlist you submit will help sponsors understand your child’s needs and desires. Please limit each item to $75 or less. Each wishlist typically includes: a. Clothing sizes b. Three needs c. Three wants d. Three book recommendations e. Special requests (such as diaper sizes or other specific information) While sponsors do their best to fulfill the items listed, please understand that they may not be able to purchase every exact item due to availability or personal choice. The wishlist is meant to serve as a guide, and sponsors are encouraged to select at least one item from each category—but the specific items may vary if certain things are out of stock or unavailable. 2. Sponsor Generosity and Flexibility Sponsors are incredibly generous and give from the heart to make your child’s Christmas special. However, please keep in mind that they may not be able to find the exact item listed or may choose a similar gift if the original is unavailable. Rest assured, they will do their best to select items that align as closely as possible with what was provided. 3. Morals and Values of Anchored Ministries As part of our commitment to serving the community, please note that any gift requests that run counter to the morals and values of Anchored Ministries will be omitted from the wishlist provided to sponsors. We ask that you submit appropriate items that reflect the spirit of the holiday season and the values we aim to uphold. Arrangements for Transportation If you need assistance or a ride to pick up the gifts, please make arrangements ahead of time.
