On March 7th, the halls of Twin Valley High School were filled with excitement, joy, and confidence as Anchored Ministries hosted our annual Prom Boutique, a much-loved event that continues to grow in impact and heart.
This year, we had the privilege of serving approximately 228 students, including:
- 2 ninth graders
- 21 tenth graders
- 103 juniors
- 102 seniors
With prom season quickly approaching, our boutique helped ensure that no student had to miss out on this special night due to financial barriers. In total, we outfitted at least 87 of the expected 400 prom attendees with beautiful gowns, suits, and accessories — completely free of charge.
What We Shared:
- 74 prom dresses
- 6 graduation dresses
- 1 concert black dress
- 13 men’s suit jackets, 11 pairs of pants, 9 shirts
- 14 ties, 1 vest, 5 belts
- 39 shoes (32 women’s, 7 men’s)
- 13 purses, 35 bracelets, 9 rings, 50 earrings, 12 necklaces
- 1 female suit, 3 shawls, 1 pin, 1 pair of gloves, 3 nail polishes
But the true magic wasn’t just in the outfits — it was in the spirit of community. Students encouraged and supported each other, sharing compliments and excitement as they found just the right ensemble.
We were especially grateful to have a seamstress on-site, offering real-time alterations, helping each student walk away with confidence and a perfect fit.

This event is always a reminder of what it means to serve with dignity, kindness, and compassion. Every student deserves to feel seen, celebrated, and excited for one of the most memorable nights of high school. We are honored to play a part in making that possible.
