Register for the Back to School Program

Providing your child with the tools—and confidence—to start the school year strong.

If you could use some support this school year, we invite you to register for Anchored Ministries’ Back to School Program. Open to eligible families, this event provides free backpacks, school supplies, and access to our Mobile Clothing Closet—plus a fun and welcoming experience for the whole family.

Spaces are limited, and pre-registration is required. Please review the eligibility criteria before completing your registration. We’re honored to walk alongside you as the new school year begins.

Please ensure that the student(s) you are signing up to participate in this program will be with you on the day of the event in order to make the selection of their backpack.

Eligibility(Required)

To apply for the Back to School Program, your children must meet all of the following eligibility requirements. Please read each section carefully to ensure you qualify.

Age Requirement
Your children must be in Pre-K through 12th grade and no older than 18 years old in order to be eligible for this program.

Residency Requirement
Your children must either attend or live within the Twin Valley School District. This includes:

1. Public school students within the district.
2. Homeschool students within the district boundaries.
3. Private school students within the district.

Income or Assistance Requirement
Your children must meet one of the following conditions to qualify based on income or assistance:
1. Your household receives benefits from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).
2. Your children are foster children under the legal care of a foster care agency or the court.
3. Your children meet the federal definition of homeless, runaway, or migrant.
4. Your household income is at or below the limits set by the Federal Income Eligibility Guidelines for the free/reduced lunch program. You can check the current guidelines here:

One Program Application Policy
You may apply to only one Back to School assistance program to ensure all families in the community are served. By applying to Anchored Ministries, you confirm that you have not applied to any other Back to School assistance program.

Event Details(Required)

Please review the following details carefully regarding the Back to School Program:

1. Event is for Children and their Parents/Guardians
This event is requires the child to be present in order to select a backpack for themselves and for the parent/guardian to also be present to assist in gathering the materials required for the child’s school year. Please plan accordingly to ensure both the parent or guardian and child arrives to pick up the backpack and supplies.

2. School Supply Pick-Up Details
All school items must be picked up on the day of the event during your selected time. The event will be held at:

It is important that you pick up your school supplies on the event date, as there will be no alternative pick-up times available.

3. Arrangements for Transportation
If you need assistance or a ride to attend, please make arrangements ahead of time.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer delivery services for school supplies.

Do you grant permission for your photo to be taken at the event?(Required)
By selecting “Yes”, I understand and am okay with photos being taken of me and my family strictly for Anchored Ministries supporting uses such as fundraising, advertisement of events, and donor support. I understand that the materials will be used only for Anchored Ministries, will not be used for any unmentioned purposes, and no compensation will be issued for photos. I also understand that I may decline the right for my, or my family’s, photo to be taken by selecting “No,” and I will be issued a sticker to wear while at the event to ensure no photos will be taken or used.
