Christmas Program Sponsor

Dear Sponsor,

Thank you for your interest in sponsoring a child through the Anchored Ministries Christmas Program! Your generosity will bring joy to hundreds of children in the Twin Valley School District this Christmas, showing them they are loved and cherished.

Our program is unique in that it allows families to be part of the Christmas joy. At our special one-day event, parents and guardians receive the gifts you’ve provided, wrap them, and shop for stocking stuffers. They’ll also enjoy a meal and have the opportunity to send a thank-you note to their sponsor.

Ways to Sponsor a Child:

Currently Scheduled Pairing Events

November 10th from 9:30am-10:30am @ Harmony United Methodist Church
November 17th from 10am-11am @ Zion Mennonite Church
November (TBD) from 9am-1230pm @ Moving Communities to Christ Church

If you attend a Pairing event you’ll receive a physical card with your child’s information. If you register online and are paired with a child, you’ll receive their wish list via email. Both will includes their age, clothing sizes, three needs, three wants, and three reads, along with any special details from their parent or guardian.

How the Process Works

The amount you spend is up to you, though we suggest around $100. You’re welcome to include a family or parent gift if you feel led to do so.
We recommend purchasing at least one “want,” one “need,” and one “read” from the wish list. If the specific items aren’t available, use the list as inspiration for what the child might enjoy.
Please place unwrapped gifts in a large single bag and clearly label it with your name or wish list number. Gift receipts for clothing are helpful.
Drop off the gifts at Anchored Ministries, 40 South Chestnut St., Elverson, by December 6th. Drop-off hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to noon. Additional hours will be announced via email. If these times don’t work for you, please contact us to make other arrangements.

If you can’t shop but still want to help, consider donating a gift card (Walmart, Target, Amazon, Visa) for families not matched with a sponsor.

By sponsoring a child, you are not only spreading the joy of Christmas but also sharing the love of Christ during this season of giving. Thank you for helping make this Christmas a blessed one for our community.
