What is the Prom Boutique?
We believe every student deserves to feel confident and celebrated during life’s milestone moments. The Prom & Community Boutique provides free, high-quality formalwear to students and community members, built around two annual events designed to feel like an upscale boutique, not a giveaway line.
The Prom Boutique is one of our main events, tailored to high school students getting ready for prom and other formal occasions. We transform our space into an elegant boutique where students browse and choose from dresses, suits, shoes, jewelry, and accessories. Volunteers act as personal stylists, helping each student find the outfit that fits the night. Every bit of it is free.
Every student deserves to walk into that night feeling like the best version of themselves. This was never about a dress or a suit. It’s about being seen, valued, and told you belong.
Who It’s For?
The Prom Boutique is open to high school students preparing for prom or another formal occasion, and to community members who need formalwear for a special event. There’s no income verification and no paperwork.
Students are usually referred by school counselors, teachers, and administrators, and they’re also welcome to register directly. If you know a student who’d benefit, point them our way. We run boutique events in both the Twin Valley and Daniel Boone School Districts.
How it works
Walk in and it feels like a high-end shopping trip. Racks of dresses, suits, and tuxedos. Tables of shoes, jewelry, makeup, and accessories. A volunteer stylist alongside you the whole way, helping with sizing, pairing, and the little details that make an outfit come together.
You browse. You choose what you love. You leave with a complete look for your event. There’s no cost, no catch, and no charity-line feeling anywhere in it. The point is to walk out feeling ready to shine.

Donate new or gently used dresses, suits, shoes, and accessories to help students find the perfect look. Your donations expand our selection and make sure every student has beautiful, confidence-boosting options to choose from.
Volunteer at a Boutique
Help us create an uplifting, boutique-style experience. Act as a personal stylist, welcome students at the door, or pitch in on setup and teardown. No fashion experience needed, just a few hours and a warm heart.
