Open the rear door and side doors of the trailer (#1 & #4)
Ensure Safety
Set up traffic cones as needed to direct and protect foot traffic. (#5)
Places the 4x Blue Pool noodles on the wires for the ramp door (#6)
Power the Trailer
Run an extension cord from the front of the trailer to an outlet to power the lights (**Only required if running and event that is longer than 6-8 hours).
Lights should automatically turn on based on the position of the side door.
Use the switches located above the inside of the side door for additional lighting. (#2)
Assess Inventory
Take note of which items are strapped down and which are free. (#7, #8, #9, #10, #11)
Arrange Tables and Items
Retrieve folding tables from the v-nose section of the trailer. (#7)
Set up tables in an “L” shape on the side of the trailer with the side door.
Create a flow where visitors:
Enter through the rear ramp.
Select clothing inside the trailer.
Exit through the side door.
Browse additional items on the exterior tables.
Have their clothing bagged at the folding table near the rear ramp.
Organize Items
Remove all boxes and logically arrange items on the tables outside. (#10)
Place shoes on the side of the “L” that touches the trailer. (#8)
Set Up Additional Equipment
Position the Z-rack behind the folding table for hangers. (#11)
Place a winter coat rack (if available) alongside the trailer.
Place the small rolling cart by the folding table with necessary supplies (Bluetooth speaker, hanger size tags, clothing bags, etc.). (#9)
Finalize Setup
Complete the date and location information in the notebook inside of the bin on the rolling cart
Count and record the number of pairs of shoes placed out.
Set out the Prayer Request box and any other materials to share.
Use the counter provided in the bin on the rolling cart to ensure an accurate count of the total number of people who have gone through the Mobile Clothing Closet.
Maintain Orderliness
Ensure no clothing is on the floor.
Sweep the floor if needed.
Operation
Gatekeeper
Manage access at the rear ramp to allow 2-3 people into the trailer at a time.
Engage with visitors waiting in line to learn their names, hear their stories, and offer prayer or encourage them to fill out a Prayer Request card.
Remind visitors to take clothing with hangers for easy processing.
Prompt individuals taking too long to finalize their selections.
Runner
Assist visitors as they are exiting the trailer by collecting their selected items when their arms are full.
Ask for the visitor’s name and deliver the clothing to the Folder.
Folder
Receive the visitor’s name and their clothing items from the Runner.
Remove hangers, place them on the Z-rack, fold the clothing, and bag it.
Label the bag with the visitor’s name.
Remove hanger size tags and sort them into the appropriate bin on the rolling cart when time allows.
Record all necessary data in the spiral notebook located on the rolling utility cart.
Ensure the recorded numbers are also texted or emailed to 484-525-0803.

Count Remaining Items
Record the number of shoes left.
Count and record used hangers, then pack them into cardboard boxes. Separate hangers by type: Children’s, Pants, and Adults.
Repack the Trailer
Reverse the setup process, ensuring items are securely stored:
Cones, extension cords, boxes of used hangars, and rolling cart at the rear ramp.
Folding tables strapped into the front v-nose section.
Boxes placed neatly along the aisle to minimize movement during transport.
