As we close out another year, we’re in awe of what God has accomplished through Anchored Ministries. Together, with your support, we’ve brought hope, dignity, and essential resources to countless families across our community. Here’s a look at how your generosity and dedication made a difference in 2024:
By the Numbers: Transforming Lives
- 41,841 items of clothing distributed, ensuring individuals and families had what they needed for every season.
- 1,265 pairs of shoes given, putting confidence in every step.
- 2,254 people reached through our Mobile Clothing Closet, saving families an average of $300 per visit.
Through our Community Programs, we touched lives in meaningful ways:
- 451 Twin Valley students received their full Christmas wishlists, made possible by 246 sponsors.
- 284 children equipped with backpacks and school supplies, easing the back-to-school stress for families.
- 156 winter coats provided warmth during the coldest months.
- Our Prom Boutique helped 210 young adults feel their best with 86 dresses, tuxes, shoes, and accessories.
This impact is only possible because of the incredible 3 part-time staff, 43 partner organizations, 72 community volunteers, and 246 Christmas sponsors who brought these programs to life.
The Need is Real and Urgent
Did you know that 12% of Pennsylvania residents live below the poverty line? Even more staggering, 1 in 5 children faces poverty. In our neighboring counties alone:
- 51,166 people in Berks County face daily struggles.
- 46,710 in Lancaster County need help making ends meet.
- 24,716 in Chester County rely on community support.
More than one-third of families in our neighboring counties struggle to afford basic necessities, a challenge that continues to grow at an alarming rate. With basic needs like hygiene items, transportation, and clothing costing families hundreds of dollars each month—expenses not covered by SNAP or WIC—our work remains essential.

- $0.12/month gets one piece of clothing into the hands of someone in need.
- $5/month provides 41 pieces of clothing to families.
- $25/month equips 204 people with essential clothing.
- $50/month delivers a remarkable 409 pieces of clothing to our neighbors in need.
- $100/month sees nearly 820 pieces of clothing given to those in need.
